ILL-EGO Culture Brands Red Tape Talk EP.166 | Fargo Election Series w/ Dave Piepkorn
Episode notes
This week on Red Tape Talk, we sit down with Fargo mayoral candidate and longtime City Commissioner Dave Piepkorn for one of the most raw, unfiltered and direct conversations we’ve had yet in our Fargo Mayoral Series.
We dive deep into: • Crime in downtown Fargo • Homelessness & addiction • Flock surveillance cameras • Fargo’s financial future • Rising public frustration • Small business struggles • Government accountability • Public perception vs actual crime statistics • The direction of Fargo leadership • And whether Fargo is truly becoming less safe… or if residents are simply being ignored.
No teleprompters. No corporate media feel. Just real conversation, disagreement, debate, laughs and honest discussion about what’s happening in our city right now.
Whether you agree with Dave or completely disagree with him, this episode gives viewers a deeper look into the mindset, personality and policies of one of Fargo’s most outspoken political figures.
As part of our Fargo Mayoral Series, our goal is simple: Give EVERY major candidate a platform to speak openly, explain their vision, answer difficult questions and connect directly with the people — without filters.
This one gets intense.
