Kali is 22 years old, and 3 years clean after using for nearly four years. She grew up with parents that struggled with their own addiction. At the age of 9, her babysitter introduced her to marijuana. By the age of 13, she was drinking alcohol and soon fell prey to pills, heroin, and other substances. Her lights on moment came after agreeing to use with her brother. A brother that would later die an overdose death. Kali shares that recovery is not easy but worth the battle.
