Julian Burnside AO QC is a barrister, a human rights and refugee advocate and an author. He practices principally in commercial litigation, trade practices and administrative law. He has been involved in some of Australia's most significant and seminal court cases. In 2009 he was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for "... service as a human rights advocate, particularly for refugees and asylum seekers, to the Arts as a patron and fundraiser, and to the law." On the podcast we discuss the potential extradition of Julian Assange and look at many of the issues surrounding the case.
