the gratitude episode pt. 2

join me for part 2 of ways to show gratitude and why choosing to be grateful is so important!

bonus: deep breathing exercise

Bonus
this special episode was created to help in moments when we crave peace and a mental reset. we can get so caught up in worry and become so tense with the pressures of life, that we forget to breathe. I hope this episode is helpful!

its all a mystery

embracing uncertainty and accepting what is unknown is something we all struggle with. however, there's so much beauty and confidence that can be found in understanding that we cannot control everything. we become stronger people when we happily allow the surprises of life to shock us!

the girls are back

i asked some familiar voices to get candid and discuss work life, financial responsibilities, preparing for the cooperate world, and supportive communities. we also did a bit of maladaptive daydreaming and described our ideal lives if money wasn't a factor.

what do the guys have to say?

balancing work and life, religion, gender dynamics, fear, and self-discovery are just a handful of things that every individual has to navigate through. this week, I switched things up and decided to invite my dear friends, que, pace, and jonas to discuss those exact topics. i genuinely hope you have just as much fun listening as we did recording!

am i too old?

post-sickness revealed that sometimes my relationship with aging isn't as positive as it should be. as a woman in my early 20s, I kind of...maybe... fear aging? join me as I talk about the social identity theory and how influencer culture along with outdated views of women, and young people in general, make us apprehensive about getting older.

hello old friend

it's been a long-time, but I'm back and so excited! join me as I talk about the "winter blues", knowing your triggers, letting go, and embracing the new.

casually un-casual?

in this episode, I talk about trends and these "aesthetic" ways of living that plague my various social media pages. these set of principles influence us in all aspects of life and on so many levels that we often don't notice . we can get so caught up in how perfect our lives appear and compare ourselves to others that we forget to give things of real value proper attention.

q&a: art therapy, building intimate communities, and more!

this episode takes on more of an interview style and I was so happy that the interviewee agreed! i am so appreciative of zahara answering questions about books, life goals, therapy, and why being intentional with the community you create is so important.

hello self-care

intentional isolation, healthy coping strategies, self-care, and emotional maturity? woah. in today's episode, I decided to talk about ways I deal with heavy emotions and why i try to be intentional about self-care from the inside out, taking social media breaks, eating, rediscovering myself, and self-isolating (in a healthy way) for my personal well-being.
