Buy Eggs or Buy Chickens?

This is a pretty interesting topic especially these days as inflation has increase practically everything. The shortage and increased pricing of eggs is kinda surprising in two different ways. The first one that comes to mind is the fact of how little I pay attention to where eggs come from. Since we're on that topic, let's ask the question. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? (Obviously the answer is the Rooster:) but moving right along... The other surprising part of the increase in egg pricing is that it's just now happening.

With every other manufacturer, product, goods or services in the world that have already taken their turns on the consumer, I'm surprised the farming industry hasn't done this sooner!
