Primary Scripture: Joshua 7:6-12

In this episode of Rod Talks, Pastor Rodney delves into the sobering events of Joshua 7, contrasting the victory at Jericho with the Israelites' defeat at Ai. He highlights the "unfaithfulness" of the people, specifically the sin of Achan, which brought collective judgment upon Israel.

Rodney emphasizes that God sees sin clearly and demands it be dealt with decisively. Through a process of elimination, Achan’s theft of silver, gold, and a Babylonian robe is exposed. Rodney concludes that sin impacts both individuals and their communities, but emphasizes the promise of 1 John 1:9: that confession leads to God’s faithful forgiveness and purification.
