Episode notes

DNA is an outstanding material for the preparation of nano- and microscale assemblies, which are believed to have potential for the construction of nanoelectronic devices. DNA metallization procedures were developed in order to increase the conductivity of subsequent DNA nanostructures, thereby enabling their use as molecular wires.
