Warrior Expo Recap & Plans

Lilly and I talk about how the Expo went and how grateful we are to everyone that helped make it happen. We go over plans for the next Psychotic Strength Showdown 2027 (Feb 27th) and the next Warrior Expo (Sep 4th and 5th). We go over what we are adding and how we plan to make it better and more efficient. We love doing these shows and our community. We also got engaged.

"Saving animals, Shunting things — the friendly business" Dr. Charlene & Dr. Rachel

These Veterinarian Doctors join us for some super interesting animal talk that works it's way into past feelings and future aspirations. We will have them back for some great convo again. From fish hatcheries to Animal ER these ladies know what they are talking about.

The Smiths. Andy and Miriam

In this episode Andy and Miriam join us for some open discussion on their lives and how lifting has changed it for the better. From the military, being an officer, to being a trainer and so much more. Definitely going to have them back for some deeper convo at some point.

Steven (Big Iron) Landon

WE get pretty deep on this one. We talk about starting strongman, Foster care, trauma, life, and love. We get down to the hard parts of life. We go over our main motivators and how those things change based on where we are at in life and who we are with. Grief is also a big factor in peoples life and how that affects people.

Carson "The Savior" Aquino

Carson, Lilly, and I have a nice chat about starting Strongman. What that means to us and how we got going. Carson has extensive experience with Strongman and is working his way up taking 2nd in USS Nationals this year. While Lilly took 2nd yesterday at Canyon Summer Clash. We go over how Carson became a Water Savior and how all that works. Did you know Carson Played Collage Football as a Running back? Figure out what else you don't know about him.

Magic and Shit

We Play Magic. Jonathan Stone, Justin Bates and I play Magic the Gathering. See who wins.

Nate "Perfect Gait" Lyman

I interview Nathaniel Stephen Lyman today. This one is a great one for me as this man met me around 13 years ago when my fitness journey began. He was the front desk guy at 2 am when I worked out. We talk a lot about Running (I know that's a curse word in Strongman) and how he fell in love with the sport. A very interesting outlook on "the love of the work". We talk about how to gain prospective from really enjoying what you are doing in all facets of it including the hard things. What to do when you lose that love for passion and how to rekindle it. Quite a few big topics in here that we let our ADHD run with that turn into very interesting and well thought out deliveries. Nathan you were great and I really enjoyed talking with you.

Adamari "Adastrength" Serrato

Mari Lilly and I go over how she got lifting, ADHD meds, the Potential for strongwomen, Tarot Cards and being ordained to marry people. This one is full of that classic ADHD brain you expect from the show and we hit all different shit at all different times back and forth here and there.

Bryt "Biggest Fist" Williams

In this episode Bryt and Talk about pro wrestling, magic the gathering, life, and lifting. Time to get a game of magic on and we will let you know how it goes.

Jamison Faith-in the Method

We talk to Jamison Faith about lifting and Coaching. The man's a wealth of knowledge and pretty funny. We go over our types of training and how we deal with athletes. Pretty interesting takes and understandings about the athletic condition. Gonna need a second one even though this one was 2 hours oops.
