Congregational Music and Revival: Reviving a Baptist Church, Part 11

Dr. Moore discusses why music is critical to turning around a Baptist church. Even if believers are successful in their evangelism and outreach, the type of music that is used in most Baptist churches—traditional congregational hymns—will cause their new converts to leave their churches. Baptists must change their perspective on music in order to find revival.

The Beauty of God-given Gender: Answering Transgender Dogma

Dr. Moore asks the question, "Is your gender a mistake?" To answer, he reviews a fascinating verse in 1 Corinthians where Paul says, "The man is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of man" (11:7). By understanding the astonishing design of the human man, and the relationship of that design to the woman, we can see the beauty and satisfaction found in rejoicing in the gender God made us.

Congregational Voting and Revival: Reviving a Baptist Church, Part 6

Dr. Moore discusses why congregational voting must go for Baptist Churches to experience revival. Voting is not biblical and is littered with destructive and insidious problems, the kind that have nearly destroyed Baptist churches in the United States.

Understanding English Bible Versions: The Basics

Dr. Moore goes into detail on the history of English versions by reviewing the Wycliffe, Geneva, and KJV. He also reviews the three approaches to translating (literal, dynamic equivalent, and paraphrase), along with modern English translations like the NIV and Message. Then he makes some stunning predictions about how English translations will change in the future.

The Born-Gay and Love Objections to the Bible's Teaching on Homosexuality

Dr. Moore deals with the two leading objections to the Bible's stance against homosexuality, that people are born gay and that loving, committed relationships make its teachings not apply to modern homosexual relationships.

Elders and Deacons as Revival Building Blocks: Reviving a Baptist Church, Part 5

Dr. Moore discusses why reviving Baptist churches means starting again from the organizational structure of the church itself. It must be returned to the biblical pattern of multiple elders in authority with multiple, submissive deacons to support them.
