The response of reverence, surrender, and trust to God’s revelation of Himself

Hebrew words for worship:

Shachah: bow down, kneel, or prostrate oneself in reverence

Shabach: to shout to the Lord

Yadah: to uplift hands

Tehillah: to sing spontaneous songs of praise

Halal: to be clear, to shine, to make a show and boast in celebration
