Season 1

All his senses have but human conditions. His ceremonies laid by, in his nakedness he appears but a man. - Henry V

In this episode my guest discusses the rhetoric of human remains, the importance of the family pitch fork, and the limits of Tudor propaganda. In a particularly poignant episode we delve into history and significance in a whole new way with a guest who will surely return in a future episode.

I feel my heart new open'd. O! how wretched is that poor man that hangs on princes' favors! - Henry VIII

With a guest who very recently discovered Shakespeare's cool factor, in this episode you will learn how agreeing to be an extra almost entirely based on the costume, can lead to a surprising passion for the bard many years later.

This rudeness is a sauce to his good wit, which gives men stomach to digest his words with better appetite. - Julius Caesar

This week's remote guest calls us from Iowa to talk about fart jokes, quality insults, and which late 70's clique you would be a part of.

That I essentially am not in madness, but mad in craft. - Hamlet

The guest for this episode comes to us all the way from the Pacific Northwest. Calling in from Oregon, my guest will help you learn why TV and movies don't tell the truth about pulling a battle axe off your back.

Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win. - Measure for Measure

Episode 2 of our podcast includes a guest who challenged herself to read Shakespeare's complete works before an upcoming audition, and succeeded! Lisa Michels joins me to talk about her Shakespeare journey.

We will begin these rites, as we do trust they'll end, in true delights. - As You Like It

Our first guest is Chad Gifford, who has been teaching and directing Shakespeare for many, many years... as we discuss, we're old. Enjoy our first full episode and learn about the best treat you can give out next Halloween,

Pause awhile, and let my counsel sway you. - Much Ado About Nothing

Every so often we have to pause and accept what we can do in the moment. This half episode is just a brief pause to talk about what is going on with Prairie Havoc Media, and what you can expect in the coming weeks. Thanks for joining us.
