Episode notes
Pot of Hot Coffee is a New York based podcast hosted by a comic named Sean Nieves and his long time friend Travis Hurley. This week Will Maccaro, the creator and host of "The Hamburger Club" stopped by to have a couple POHC firsts. In this high-energy episode, the crew dives into a whirlwind of topics, starting with Will’s forgetfulness and Travis’ latest antics. The laughs keep rolling as they dissect bizarre promotion strategies, make wildfire jokes, and reminisce about Brooklyn’s pre-gentrified glory days. Sean experiments with Zyn while the group debates Philly versus New York street culture, the enigma of Travis’ ethnicity, and the eternal battle between Power 105.1 and Hot 97. Skateboarding nostalgia takes center stage as they shout out iconic skaters and classic skate videos, before pivoting to a deep dive into hardcore music, ecstasy tales, and cocaine horror stories. Things take a wild turn with discussions on Arby’s French Dip, divorce parties, and hypothetical "Hotep son or K-pop daughter" scenarios. From DMX’s funeral and cheesesteak rivalries to urban exploring at Kings Park and G-Unit video games, the randomness knows no bounds. Rap legends, MTV Cribs nostalgia, and casual crack-smoking anecdotes round out this chaotic, hilarious episode. Whether you're here for the skateboarding talk, rap debates, or just pure unfiltered chaos, this episode is a rollercoaster ride you don’t want to miss!
