Episode notes
Join Joe McDonald as he explores Step 2 AA from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, focusing on the transformative power of acknowledging a higher creative intelligence. Joe highlights the importance of admitting the possible existence of a spirit of the universe, which can lead to a tangible sense of power and direction.
Joe explains, “As soon as we admitted the possible existence of a creative intelligence, a spirit of the universe underlying the totality of things, we began to be possessed of a new sense of power and direction provided we took other simple steps.”
This session emphasizes the importance of steps 3 through 12, illustrating that recovery is a continuous process, not a one-time event. Joe’s discussion encourages viewers to embrace this manner of living and experience the profound changes it brings.
