This isn't just a legal drafting choice. It's about balancing trust, flexibility, and protection. The right approach can make a POA practical and effective, while the wrong one can either restrict necessary actions or grant more authority than intended.
A Specific Powers POA authorises clearly defined actions only. For example, signing a sale agreement for a particular property, attending a trustee appointment, receiving sale proceeds, or signing specified documents. If a power isn't listed, the attorney cannot perform it.
