In the previous episode, we discussed substitution clauses. Today, we're looking at POAs involving minors and dependants—where a child or legally protected person is connected to the transaction and additional legal safeguards apply.
This is one of the most carefully regulated areas of POA practice. In the UAE, minors cannot grant a Power of Attorney, and any transaction affecting a minor's rights or assets is subject to stricter legal requirements, often including guardianship documentation or court approval.
