Due to the situation unfolding in Israel we tried to see if looking into the history of Israel, Hamas, and Palestine would help us understand what is going on any better. The answer was no, and the history was a lot bigger in scope than we imagined when we decided on the topic. It's a tragic situation, and I hope we don't make too much light of what people over there are going through. The situation is hard to understand, and quite honestly I don't think we really understand it all, but we spend some time discussing the history over in the Israel / Palestine area before we go off on our best (worst?) WW3 conspiracies.
