Dale is a Paranormal Author, Researcher, Storyteller of NL Folklore,Culture & Heritage, Dale is owner of "The St. John's Haunted Hike". He has BSc in anthropology from Trent University and a MA of Folklore at MUN-Memorial University of Newfoundland. Dale is the executive director of Heritage NL. Dale also appeared in the Fibe TV1 Grind Mind TV series "The Hag" (Directed by Shane Mills). We discuss "The Newfoundland Nightmare The Hag". Dale discusses sleep paralysis in comparison to "The Old Hag" in Newfoundland culture. We talk about the Hag crossover in different cultures such as Ireland. Dale discusses the word Mare in relation to nightmares which is German for pressing down. He discusses other cultures like Japan.
