Episode s2-38 The Bray Road Beast: At the southern part of Wisconsin, southwest of Milwaukee, there is the small town of Elkhorn. For all intents and purposes, Elkhorn is a picturesque little place, with the nickname Christmas Card Town since before WWII. Yet, on the outskirts of this quaint, quiet town, is said to live a monster which lurks on the dark roads, in the sparse trees and even in some of the neighboring areas. That monster is said to be an unknown upright canine know as The Beast of Bray Road. Episode s2-39 Food Poisoning: “You are what you eat.” This phrase is thought to have originated all the way back in 1826. Modern day determinations mean that, while not literal, the food we consume does have an effect on our physical and mental health. Episode s2-40 Anything but a Deer: I was in my blind overlooking a game trail when I first saw it. I got it in my optic's sight, easy shot, 60 yards, but I didn't shoot because the head didn't look right. It was at least an 8 point buck, but it's mouth was too big and the snout looked too long. I could see fangs peeking out of the front of it's lips, just behind the nose. When it turned toward me, it looked more canine than anything else with the eyes towards the front instead of on the sides like a normal deer but the worse thing about the whole encounter was that even though it was looking right at me, it didn't run. The Modern definition is “a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.” A phenomenon is defined as “a fact or situation that is observed to exist or happen, especially one whose cause or explanation is in question.” Incredibly, the medieval manuscript the Codex Gigas (otherwise known as the Devil's Bible) is possibly both a miracle AND a phenomenon.
