In this episode of the Bible Show, Sam and Will begin the book of Numbers, exploring Israel’s journey into the wilderness, the massive military census, the unique role of the Levites, and why Israel camped around God’s presence. Then they tackle the bizarre and controversial adultery test of Numbers 5, asking whether this strange ritual actually protected vulnerable women and how its imagery of judgment, dust, and the cup ultimately points to Jesus. The episode closes with the Nazirite vow and the famous Aaronic blessing: “The Lord bless you and keep you.” Like, comment, and subscribe for more deep dives into the strange, difficult, and beautiful parts of the Bible.
