In this episode of The Bible Show Daily, we walk through Ephesians 2:4–7 and focus on the powerful words “but God.” You’ll hear how God’s mercy and love meet us even when we were “dead in our trespasses,” and why salvation is a gift of grace, not something we earn. The conversation connects this theme to other “but God” moments in Scripture, and highlights the joy of God in the picture of the lost sheep being carried home rejoicing. We also talk about what it means to be united with Christ, including being raised with Him and seated with Him, and how that reshapes your identity and security. There’s also a brief announcement about pausing the daily episodes and moving toward longer-form Old Testament and Gospel content. If you’ve been feeling shame, insecurity, or stuck in your circumstances, let this passage re-center you on God’s kindness and grace in Christ. If this helped you, share it with someone who is Bible-curious or new to following Jesus.
