In this episode of The Bible Show, Sam and Will explore Exodus 20:8–11 and unpack the fourth commandment: remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. They trace the idea of Sabbath all the way back to creation, show how it reflects God’s design for work, rest, worship, and relationship, and explain why Sabbath is much more than “taking a day off.” Along the way, they discuss ancient cultures, modern anxiety, screen addiction, the dignity of labor, Jesus’ teaching on the Sabbath, and how Christians think about rest in light of the resurrection. If you’ve ever wondered why stopping feels so hard—or why God would command rest—this conversation is for you. Like, comment, and subscribe for more deep Bible conversations.
