Episode notes

Today’s automotive news: Volkswagen Group is recalling more than three million cars worldwide over a steering bolt that may corrode and, in extreme cases, cause loss of steering. Affected models include the Volkswagen Tiguan, Volkswagen Golf and Audi Q3.

Dubai has also opened Dubai Mobility Labs at Silicon Oasis, where autonomous vehicles are being tested across 248 scenarios. WeRide, Pony AI and Tesla are already testing as Dubai works towards making one in four journeys driverless by 2030.

Plus, new Dubai truck restrictions begin on October 1 across Al Qudra Street, Al Meydan Street and the Airport Tunnel.
