Overthinking the Modern World
Season 1
by Matt C
The story of the Asian immigrant in the West is a story that is not told often but is an extraordinary one. Each individual story encompasses venturing into the unknown and creating one's own identity in a foreign land. This episode features my own brother Dr Josh C and we try our very best to tell the story and discuss the many quirks and fascinating dynamics that come with being an Asian immigrant.
Is the world now better or worse than it was 20, 50 or 100 years ago? Who's to say. What we can guarantee is that the world is immensely more complex, the internet has taken over. Social media, online dating and the infinite content now at the reach of our fingertips has created a more connected, disconnected society than ever before. With every advantage the internet has brought, another edge of the blade has appeared.
