Welcome to the Open Adoption Project. This is episode 57. We're the Nelsons. I'm Shaun.
And I'm Lanette. Today we are so excited to share an interview with an adoptee. Her name is Sarah
and she is from Pennsylvania. She's a Chinese-born adoptee and her story is wonderful and I love the
work she's doing now. Yeah, Sarah is a social worker who works primarily coaching teenage
adoptees. She is also in the process of becoming certified to be a therapist. In this episode she
shares her thoughts and advice for the adoption community to better help listen to and validate
adoptees. Particularly she talks about teen adoptees since that is who she primarily works
