Note: Yes, we skipped a number. Episode 0 exists—this is on purpose.

After a month-long break going into the new year, On What Grounds? is back and kicking off Project 2026. Shaun and Brenden reset the board with the NFL landscape: contenders, pretenders, and the story lines that will define the season ahead. Then it’s global—breaking down the newly formed World Cup groups, early favorites, dark horses, and what the draws really mean once the ball starts rolling. New year, bigger stakes, sharper takes. The hiatus is over. The road to 2026 starts here.
