Ms. Robyn Hutchins is currently a doctoral candidate in the Nuclear Engineering department at Kansas State University studying radiation detection under the direction of Professor Douglas McGregor. Within her DTRA funded doctoral work, Ms. Hutchins has successfully designed, fabricated, and characterized many types of radiation detectors that allow for overt or covert monitoring by soldiers and emergency responders. Past work performed by Ms. Hutchins at The Idaho National Laboratory has led to the development of an artificially intelligent radiation spectroscopy system that is currently deployed on the international space stationKeywords
