This week we hear the story of Lindsey Rogers-Seitz. The story starts with a tragic day in July 2014 when her 15 month old son Ben was mistakenly left in a hot car while her husband went to work for the day. We talk about how a singular moment of his brain going into autopilot and going about his day ended with the death of their son. This story is about much more than this terrible event, but about forgiveness and healing. We talk about how their family healed and continues to heal and how she was able to forgive her husband and continue to grow together. We also talk about her lifelong struggles with mental illness herself and her growth and newfound career path in the field. This is truly a powerful conversation that I urge everyone to hear.
