Not My Favorite Ep.15: White House Down
Episode notes
This week on the pod Derek and Scott talk about faux fascism, the flailing state of identity politics and bullyging in the 90's!
One comic. One mic. One producer who won’t stay quiet.
This is a solo podcast about comedy, culture, and the weird position of trying to be a thinking person in a very stupid world. I break down what’s happening inside the comedy scene, what’s happening outside it, and where a working stand-up fits in the middle of all of it.
Expect honest takes on stand-up, cultural moments, internet drama, the business of comedy, and whatever else deserves to be roasted that week.
Occasionally my off-camera producer jumps in to fact-check, argue, or make things worse. If you like stand-up, behind-the-scenes comedy talk, and a comic trying to figure out where he belongs in the circus, this is for you.
