In honor of the Jewish holiday of Purim, this year celebrated on March 6, Steph had the fun idea of telling us about the history of Purim and how it is celebrated today. This is a fascinating story about Esther and how she helped the Jews of Persia save themselves from a decree of murder issued by Haman, the eventually disgraced Viceroy of the King. Purim celebrates Esther’s bravery with costumes, food, and a lot of drinking while making sure to care for the poor. We had a lot of fun learning about Purim and we hope you do too!
