Episode notes
In this episode of No One's Listening, a podcast about contemporary music, we analyze and discuss composer Ben Nobuto and his piece "Trio (for ivy house)".
Hosted by Mikey Donica and Grace Holloway — two conservatory-trained composers in their 20s — we talk about what drew us to this weird, often misunderstood corner of music, why it doesn't deserve its reputation, and what we hope to get across in this show. Think of this as the pitch: if you've ever been curious about "new classical" but didn't know where to start, this is for you.
🎧 New episodes covering composer deep-dives, big questions about new music, and our own compositions dropping every week.
