Today’s reading takes us to Isaiah 59, where the battle begins with an uncomfortable truth: the problem is not weakness in heaven, but rebellion on earth. Sin separates, confession takes ownership, and before Isaiah ever shows us armor, he forces us to deal with personal holiness. Spiritual warfare cannot be separated from the condition of our own hearts. Pasted text Pasted text
Isaiah 59 then gives us an incredible picture of salvation: God looks for an intercessor, finds no one sufficient, and enters the battle Himself. His own arm brings salvation, His righteousness upholds Him, and He puts on righteousness as a breastplate and salvation as a helmet. The armor of Ephesians 6 is His armor—the armor of the victorious God. So today, read Isaiah 59 and remember: confess the sin within, trust the Redeemer who entered the battle, and stand in armor that has never lost. Pasted text
