Today’s reading takes us to Ephesians 3:14–21, where Paul bows before the Father and prays for believers to be strengthened from the inside out. His request is not that their circumstances become easier, but that the Spirit would strengthen them according to God’s riches, that Christ would dwell deeply in their hearts, and that they would become rooted and grounded in love. Ephesians 3 reminds us that God must strengthen our roots if we are going to bear the weight of Christ’s love. The goal is fullness—His character, His nature, His love, and His life flowing through us. And the power Paul prayed we would know in chapter 1 is now the power he prays would work within us. So today, read Ephesians 3:14–21 and pray boldly: strengthen me by Your Spirit, root me in Your love, fill me with Your fullness, and receive all the glory.
