Today’s reading takes us to 1 John 5, where John closes his letter with certainty. He does not end with “we wonder” or “we hope,” but with “we know.” Those who are born of God overcome the world, believe God’s testimony concerning His Son, pray with confidence, and live in what God has made clear.
1 John 5 reminds us that the central question is not whether we have religious language, church habits, or moral effort—the question is: do we have the Son? If we have the Son, we have life. So today, read 1 John 5 and hold tightly to what is true: you have found the true God, so do not trade Him for a counterfeit.
