Known and Nourished 1 Tim 3:14-4:6

Many people in the world are malnourished. Even many who are not hungry are malnourished, especially in the area of micronutrients and hydration. As humans we are way too comfortable being malnourished. Spiritually, this should not be so. God gives us a pattern for being well nourished on the words of faith. It is found here in 1 Timothy and is spelled out fairly clearly.

At the same time, Christians are always hopeful of that moment when we will stand before God and hopefully hear the words, well done, good and faithful servant. Here, in this passage is a promise to receive a good verdict in the kingdom. Do this and you will have served Jesus Christ well.
