Episode notes
In this episode, I discuss the interconnectedness of grammar, reading, and writing.
Teaching grammar is not about mindless translation; it’s about understanding the structure and function of language. Grammar encompasses decoding, working memory, morphology, syntax, and vocabulary.
Dyslexic EFL students need explicit grammar instruction to become better readers and writers to fully engage with the language.
This instruction helps them recognize patterns, understand sentence structure, and build a robust vocabulary.
Tune in and let me know your thoughts, I would love to hear from you.
