Preparing Teachers to Serve Gifted Learners - Heather Bower Meredith College

Heather Bower is the Department Head and Coordinator of Assessment at Meredith college and the mom of two gifted children. In this episode, Heather shares what the education department at Meredith College is doing to prepare their future teachers to be able to serve Gifted Learners as soon as they enter the classroom. She also speaks about obstacles she overcame while parenting her gifted children and she has some great insights as to how to navigate the many challenging decisions teenagers and their families have to make in regard to honors, IB and AP courses, and dual enrollment.
