Episode notes
Month of Darkness Day 1: The World You Left Behind
Prompt: The World You Left Behind Featured Character: Fae World: Vampire: The Masquerade
For Day One of the Month of Darkness Challenge, Nella steps into the memories of one of her Vampire: The Masquerade characters: Joséphine Adélaïde Évelyne Baptiste Devereux, better known as Fae.
Fae is a French-Caribbean Toreador, descendant of Helena, who has spent more than sixty years as a vampire.
But before she was Fae, she was Joséphine.
A daughter. A sister. A mortal woman with a home, a family, and a life she once believed would last.
When an unexpected artistic frenzy pulls an old memory to the surface, Fae finds herself painting something she hasn't allowed herself to truly look at in decades:
The world she left behind.
