Jesus, Lord of All

The greatest question any human will ever answer is: “What will you do with Jesus?” Jesus was clear when He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me.” Now, either Jesus was telling the truth, or He was lying. Join us as we see how Jesus trapped the Pharisees when He claimed to be the Son of God and Lord of all. We’ll understand why Jesus must be "Lord of all," or He is "nothing at all” in a person’s life.

The Greatest Commandment

Jesus was asked: “What is the greatest commandment?” Jesus answered: “To love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength.” But what does that mean, and how does it look in everyday life? Jesus, The Cornerstone

Any builder knows the foundation of a home or building must be built square for it to be sturdy and reliably hold up the building. When building that foundation, a corner is chosen, and everything is measured from that corner. Have Faith In God

Have you been overwhelmed lately? Between Jesus’ triumphal entry on Sunday, His ferocity in the Temple on Monday, and the widely known, murderous intentions of the religious leaders, I think it’s safe to say that the twelve were a bit on edge! When Jesus cursed the fruitless fig tree, and it withered completely, the disciples were astounded once again. “What?! Look! How?!” Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God,” and He tells us the same thing in the craziness of our lives.

Jesus Reclaims His Temple

Jesus is shown all throughout the gospels as having compassion on the lost and on the crowds. One of the few exceptions was when He reclaimed His temple from those who had misused and misrepresented the name of “God’s people” for too long.

The Lesson of the Fig Tree

How much faith do you have? The nation of Israel rejected Jesus, showing their lack of faith. As a picture of that rejection, Jesus cursed a fig tree because it had no fruit. When Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, it was described as the “Triumphal Entry.” The people were looking for a King to overthrow Rome and set up His kingdom. They praised Jesus, shouting: “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” But everything changed in a matter of days. That praise of Jesus was “false praise.” Why did it happen?
