Released in 1977, right after Jaws became the highest grossing movie ever (although quickly surpassed by Star Wars,) Close Encounters of the Third Kind games out a scenario where Aliens begin appearing and trying to contact humans, abducting a few in the process. It stars Richard Dreyfuss, Teri Garr, Melinda Dillon, Bob Babalan, Carey Guffey, and Francois Truffaut.
