Season 3

Episode 91: Innocence Lost 2: Blood and Tears

Not all is as it seems in the woods. Whether it be an old woman feeding you until you explode, a YA bad romance, or your childhood animal friends going on a killing spree, what you remember from your past is all wrong with these movies. So join us as we lose our innocence once again. And Remember… We watch bad movies so you don’t have to.

Episode 90: The Motion Never Stops

In our first film art style episode, we journey into the world of stop motion animation. This method of animation and its use in film for monster effects goes back almost to the dawn of the medium, but when CGI came around, it lost much of its appeal to Hollywood and became a labor of love for those few that still stayed and moved that medium forward. Here are a few newer films keeping that spirit alive.

Episode 89: Luck of the Irish?

Have you ever wanted to build your best friend? Or give a stranger a makeover? How about having a good long conversation with yourself and reminiscing about the past? Well then today’s episode is just for you as we feature Lucky McKee in this month’s director spotlight.

Episode 88: Have Gun, Will Travel

Last month we explored the wild west, and this week we will be exploring the neo wild west. Movies that have that western sensibility with a setting that is closer to our modern times. We also continue our trend of some big names on both sides of the camera. With a few award winners sprinkled on top, in observance of awards season.

Episode 87: Killing with Style

Join Graveyard and Salem as they explore the fashionable side of horror with some films that revolve around beauty standards, Obsession, and of course, gallons of blood. These films prove that ladies enjoy a good stabbing, so let’s cut on in.

Episode 86: Elevated to a Whole New Level

Join Graveyard and Salem as they prepare to put down the popcorn, turn your brain back on, and ditch those “cheesy” unintelligent slasher movies. Whether a slow burn, or takes on mental illness, we have what many consider “elevated” horror and the new trend. Join us as we discuss the Babadook, Relic, and Barbarian and make sure to keep those pinkies up!

Episode 85: How to make a monster Baby, how to get it on

We have journeyed into the mind of Rob Zombie before. Both in our Halloween multi-episode spectacular and in his own standalone House of 1000 Corpses trilogy. There is still a little bit of Rob Zombie to go around, so this week we enjoy what is left. Two films and a trailer for a film not yet made, this is all we can cover until Mr. Zombie produces more.

Episode 84: Alien B&E

Lock your doors, close your windows, and don’t venture into the woods to investigate that strange red light.  What is that craft hovering in the sky?  Did you see little green men or the grays? Grab your guns and brace yourself for an invasion as we dive into alien abduction movies with the McPherson Tape, Communion, Fire in the Sky and Alien Abduction Incident in Lake County.  The Truth is out there.

Episode 83: Wild Wild West

The United States followed their Manifest Destiny to push the country’s border from coast to coast. There was some wild in that journey west, and we are about to enjoy some tales about the supernatural horror that can sometimes jump out from that dusty old trail. Yes, we are discussing three wild west(ish) films this week.

Episode 82: They Mostly Swim at Night, Mostly

Creatures from the Deep and Haunted Pools, what lies beneath the water can drag you into a watery grave.   Whether you are miles underwater or taking a nice swim at night in your pool, you never know what might be reaching out below you. I know it is my own personal fear to be underwater and these movies tap right into it.
