It is break time at school, and the playground is full of laughter and running.

But then Maya hears something different.

A quiet sound.

Someone is crying.

Maya looks around and sees a girl sitting alone on a bench. She walks over slowly and sits beside her.

The girl’s name is Busaba… and she is very sad.

Her pet fish, Bubbles, has died.

Maya does not try to fix the problem. She does something simple, but very important.
