Samsung is planning to axe the Galaxy S26 Plus in favor of the Galaxy S26 Edge

Samsung Replaces Galaxy S26 Plus with Edge Model:

Reports indicate that Samsung is considering replacing the less popular Galaxy S Plus model with a new, ultra-slim Galaxy S Edge variant starting with the S26 series. This potential shift is influenced by the recently launched and very slim Galaxy S25 Edge, which serves as a sort of test run. While the S25 Edge has some limitations compared to the S25 Plus, Samsung is seemingly following a trend potentially set by Apple with their rumored "Air" model iPhone 17. Ultimately, the success of the Galaxy S25 Edge's sales performance will likely determine if Samsung proceeds with this change for the future Galaxy S26 lineup.
