Episode notes
In Part 2 of our conversation with Megan Soland, we move from learning about Human Design as a tool for self-understanding into experiencing it for ourselves. Megan gives us individual readings, exploring the ways we each move through the world, make decisions, connect with others, and find our own sense of purpose.
As we unpack our charts, we talk about the difference between what we feel we should do and what we genuinely want to do, the importance of honoring our need for rest and solitude, and what it can look like to trust the wisdom of our own bodies instead of searching for all the answers. Megan also helps us see how our individual designs shape the way we relate to one another — and how our differences can become part of what makes us powerful collaborators.
We explore:
- Diane's 6/2 Emotional Generator design and the balance between her generous energy and her need for alone time
- Erin's 4/6 Manifesting Generator design and learning to trust her immediate response, motivation, and desire
- the difference between “I want to” and “I should,” especially within our relationships
- learning to focus on yourself without seeing self-trust as selfishness
- authenticity, sharing our unfiltered truth, and giving ourselves permission to experience life fully
- how Diane and Erin naturally bring different perspectives, motivations, and ways of seeing the world
- our combined Human Design and the unique energy that emerges when we work and create together
In our call with Grammie at the end (a 4/6 Emotional Generator), we learned we both share part of her chart and talk about how women's options in life have shifted over the years. It sure brought tears to our eyes, you don't want to miss it!
