Good evening. Minnesota. I'm Aaron Jolly.
That milky, washed-out sky you're seeing? That's moisture trapped near the ground. And it's setting the stage for a foggy night. We're sitting at 43 degrees right now under partly cloudy skies. But the real story is what's coming. A spring storm that means business.
In the next 24 hours. Tonight, fog spreads across much of the state. A Dense Fog Advisory is already in effect for central Minnesota until noon Thursday. Visibility could drop to a quarter mile or less. Lows hold in the mid-30s.
Thursday brings another mild day once the fog lifts. The Twin Cities reaches 54 degrees. Southern Minnesota tops out around 53. Head north though. And it's a different feel. Grand Marais and the Arrowhead stay in the lower 30s with that northeast wind off Lake Superior.
