Good morning. Minnesota. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside right now and you might bump into your own mailbox. We're sitting at 34 degrees with visibility down to a quarter mile or less across much of the state. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through mid-morning for western and southern Minnesota. Take it slow on the roads. In the next 24 hours. Here's the good news. That fog lifts by 9 A.M. and behind it? A preview of spring. Highs today reach 55 degrees in the Twin Cities. Southern Minnesota hits 54. Head north and you'll see 48 degrees — still remarkably mild for early March. We're running about 15 degrees above normal right now. Tonight, patchy fog returns after 3 A.M. Lows dip to 36 in the metro and southern Minnesota, but northern areas drop to 25. Thursday looks similar. Morning fog gives way to partly sunny skies.
