Episode notes
Old Time Radio This Day – September 5 | Classic Radio Broadcasts From This Date
Step back in time with Mel’s Vintage Radio and discover what listeners were hearing on September 5 during the golden age of radio.
In this edition of Old Time Radio This Day, I’ve gathered a selection of vintage broadcasts that originally aired on this date, featuring a mix of mystery, comedy, drama, crime, suspense, and more.
This is a new series here on Mel’s Vintage Radio. Because researching and verifying original broadcast dates takes a little extra time, it won’t necessarily appear every day — but whenever I can, we’ll turn back the calendar and revisit the programs that were actually heard on this very date decades ago.
