Episode notes

Welcome to Episode 28 of the Marine Enthusiasts Podcast! In today’s episode, hosts Gwenevere, Skylar, & Jenny discuss the fascinating phenomenon of Whale Falls! Whale Falls are a unique ecosystem formed when a whale passes away, & falls to the bottom of the sea. Due to their sheer size, they can take years, or even decades to decompose fully. During this time, they support entire ecosystems. Organisms of all sizes, shapes, & manner come to get nutrients, or food, almost akin to a somewhat grotesque buffet.

Sit back, relax, enjoy a blue Gatorade, & dive into the latest episode of the Marine Enthusiasts podcast!
