The south woke up thinking it's May. The north still knows it's February. Here's the deal. Down in Southeast Louisiana, you're hitting 80 degrees today. Eighty. In February. Light south wind around 10 miles an hour, mostly sunny skies. Tonight drops to the mid 60s with just a whisper of a shower possible. Tomorrow? Same story. Another 80 degree day. If you're heading to the French Quarter this weekend, sunscreen beats the jacket. Over in Baton Rouge, it's even warmer. The Capital Region pushes 82 degrees under clear skies.
