Lalonie Willhite resides in Kalamazoo, Michigan and is the mother of three children. She is the Founder and CEO of Dream of Kalamazoo Hair Salon, LLC, a licensed cosmetology instructor, licensed cosmetologist, and an author.

Aside from doing hair, Lalonie enjoys being a part of hair shows around the world, watching other stylists’ creations while creating fascinating and extremely unique styles of her own. In her spare time, she creates items out of hair, such as shoes, vests, coats, and hairpieces, to name a few.

Her debut book, I've Already Made It! Breaking barriers through listening, prayer, and faith, has inspired her to speak more to people about her life experiences.
