Ep. 13 : Crescent City : A House of Sky and Breath - Pt. 1

Episode 13 is here!!! Hallee and Jamie move on to the second book in the Crescent City series, Crescent City House of Sky and Breath. This episode covers the first half of this book, chapters 1-40, pages 1-436. And guess what!?!? The audio is still magical and we are officially back in business babyyyyy. We're so excited, that we gave you guys ANOTHER CHUNKYYYY episode. Just kidding... honestly, that's just an excuse... it's chonky again because these books are simply too big, and TOO layered to have short episodes. But it's allll worth it. So, join us as we dive right into the second book in this series, because shit is going DOWN. We have random new characters who die in the first 20 pages, a celibacy pact (which is cornnyyyy!! Give us the steamy scenes!!!!), and a new dysfunctional little inner circle forming. Let this episode be your appetizer guys, because the end of the book SERVES.

Ep. 12 : Crescent City : A House of Earth and Blood - Pt. 2

In Episode 12, Hallee and Jamie continue with Crescent City House of Earth and Blood. So without further ado - get ready as the girls chat about the EPIC end to the first novel of the Crescent City series. This episode will cover the second half of Crescent City, chapters 51-97, pages 466-799. GUYS!!! We fixed our audio!! Thanks for bearing with us the last two episodes. It's been a journey... but we have come out on the other side. And in all the excitement of hearing our crystal clear voices, we gave you guys a CHUNKYYYY episode. We just couldn't help ourselves! Come with us as we talk about deception upon deception and perhaps the most ICONIC death scene in any SJM novel in existence. Honestly, there's so much going on, our heads are spinning!! Ep. 11 : Crescent City : A House of Earth and Blood - Pt. 1

We have reached Episode 11 of Literal Nonsense, and we are FINALLY done with the ACOTAR series. WOOOO!!! Time for a brand new series babies... but don't get TOO excited, it's still SJM. And so, with that being said, in Episode 11, Hallee and Jamie start their journey into the world of Crescent City, A House of Earth and Blood. This episode will cover the first half of the pilot book of this epic series. We will be discussing chapters 1-50, pages 1-465. Buckle up for INSANE amounts of world building. Any of us who have read Crescent City know that the first 400 pages just make you feel like "HUHHHHH!?!?!" insert radio static in our brains... So we really try to break it down for you and make it as easy and painless as possible. And then after that, we dive into lots of murder, drugs, and of course lack of sex! (wait, what?) Join us as we begin this wild ride that is the Crescent City trilogy!! This is only just the beginning, and it's going to get more unhinged and crazy with each episode. To be honest, get past this episode of world building and plot set up, just to get to all the juicy stuff. I know we are.

Ep. 10 : A Court of Silver Flames - Pt. 2

It is FINALLY Episode 10 of Literal Nonsense!!! We made you wait a week just to build suspense.... JK we hate fucking technology and had some ~issues~.... But anyways! In Episode 10, Hallee and Jamie keep it moving with the second half of A Court of Silver Flames. This episode will cover chapters 40-80, pages 412-751. This episode could have been the death of us.... but somehow, we persevered! Though we recorded it THREE times, we still somehow managed to put a smile on our faces and brought you the same witty banter and insanity that you have come to know and love. Join us as we get whiplash from Nesta's emotions, get forced into the Blood Rite (!!!!) and of course, unrealistically come out in the end without anyone dying (yet again).

Ep. 9 : A Court of Silver Flames - Pt. 1

Welcome to Episode 9 of Literal Nonsense!!! In this week's episode, Hallee and Jamie dive into the first half of A Court of Silver Flames. This behemoth of a book is the 5th book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, or 4th if you want to be picky and count Frost and Starlight as 3.5 (you do you). This episode will cover chapters 1-39, pages 1-411 (though Jamie glitches in the episode and says we're covering pages 1-141). Oh boy!!!! This episode really channels our inner psycho. We are bringing back the manic and unhinged energy full swing ladies and gentlemen! We will be covering all the spicy stubbornness as we are introduced to the traumatized Nesta psyche! Believe us, it's something you don't want to miss. This episode is sex PACKED - handjobs, dinner table blowjobs and using oral sex as revenge. Honestly, Nesta and Cassian are really just dirty freaks compared to Rhys and Feyre. Buckle up babiesssss!!

Ep. 8 : A Court of Frost and Starlight

It is officially Episode 8 of Literal Nonsense!!! This week, Hallee and Jamie do a quick little chat on A Court of Frost and Starlight. The small novella follows the epic end of the main trilogy in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. This episode will cover chapters 1-28, pages 1-229. Merry Christmas everyone!!!! In April??? We bring to you a fluffy little Christmas novella with our favorite Inner Circle. Though this book is full of the corny, fluffy stuff that Hallee hisses at; it truly is important to read. This book is vital to understand the next behemoth of a book that is known as Silver Flames. We discuss how on the first read, we seemingly only got lots of happy, sappy scenes filled with sex and presents. But on the second read... we realized just how many crucial plot points are being set up. So come along as we celebrate Solstice. Cheers to epic snowball fights and saunas with naked winged men!

Ep. 7 : A Court of Wings and Ruin - Pt. 3

We have arrived at Episode 7 of Literal Nonsense!!! Hallee and Jamie finish up their talk on the main trilogy of ACOTAR with their final discussion of the third book of A Court of Thorns and Roses series, A Court of Wings and Ruin. This episode will cover chapters 49-82, pages 469-699. In the fields, the bodies burning... As the war machine keeps turning... Death and hatred to mankind... Poisoning their brainwashed minds... This episode will cover chapters 24-48, pages 244-467. Join us as we scramble with the Inner Circle to stand a fighting chance in this war against Hybern. In this episode, we discuss a drama filled visit to Hewn City, and talk about perhaps the most unhinged sentence our girl Sarah has ever written.
